ASKEY TECHNOLINK commenced

active operation in late 1999 to specialize in the sourcing, development and quality management of wood-based products. Prior, the founder, SK Tan, a civil engineer by training, spent a decade in the 90's heading and running leading woodbased companies in Malaysia. Now with over 30 years of experience in the wood industry, ASKEY TECHNOLINK has sourced throughout Asia for all kinds of wood products, including mouldings, deckings, doors, flooring, MDF/particleboard, as well as garden furniture and other office and household items needed by buyers around the world.

However, evolving global environmental problems has resulted in spread of governments worldwide hardpressed to adjust their policies to address these issues, thus hitting raw material supply and pricing, leading to rising uncertainty over the woodbased industry. So when the opportunity arose in late 2006, the company moved quickly to reduce involvement in pure wood-based products, and instead forged a partnership with a leading European distributor of wood-based products and a source in China to launch into the little known WOOD PLASTIC COMPOSITE(WPC) business then, and as they say the rest is history.

Over the years, our WPC business has grown by leaps and bounds and today ASKEY TECHNOLINK is at the forefront of this industry together with our partners, specializing mainly in WPC(wood plastic composite) products, offering a wide range of fences, screens, decks and associated accessories, distributed throughout much of Europe. Todate 2022 on the update of this website, the company has already shipped over 120,000 m3 (over 80,000 tons) of these products and the demand is growing. Today WPC has become a vital key to solving the world's environmental problems since it is sustainably derived mostly from recycled plastic and woodwaste available in abundance.

At the source, we now have over 70 production lines at our disposal to meet market demand and we are constantly in touch with both market and source to look into needs for product development, equipment automation or upgrade and new facilities, as well as needs to develop human resource, all to improve efficiency, increase output and bring down costs to match and grow the market. Also, we are constantly benchmarking against our peers in order to stay ahead of the game.

Spinning off from our WPC products, we now also supply substantial quantities of aluminium products such as poles, slats and profiles and also accessories like locks, hinges, latches, brackets and screws for use with our products. In addition since 2019 we have also moved into internal aluminium glass doors for the European market.

Also, as of 2014 we have developed a range of solar-LED garden lights to complement our existing range of WPC garden products that are now well received in the market.

With the success in Europe we are now actively looking for partners to further develop our business in other new markets.
